Peranakan is a term used for the descendants of late 15th and 16th-century Chinese immigrants to the Nusantara region during the colonial era. Nyonya cuisine is widely spread and is known as a fusion of Chinese immigrant and local Malay cuisine. The Peranakan Baba Nyonya Food Tasting Campaign aims to highlight and educate individuals about adaptive recipes that have been present in society unknowingly. This project will emphasize design strategy and creative thinking processes to contribute to development of a visual brand identity. Additionally, it will educate the target audience about adaptive recipes without compromising the authenticity, genuineness, and uniqueness of cuisine.
