  • Floaty – A Flood Survival kit 

The “Floaty” is a flood survival kit that has a combination of a swimming life jacket and a bag, this flood survival kit is specifically designed for low lying areas and flood prone areas in mainland Penang during the monsoon flood seasons, the flood disaster management in Malaysia involves four phases, which are prevention/mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery. The disaster prevention/mitigation and preparedness are the phases that should be focused for having better results in the next phase, that way the burden of the next phases will be reduced. Therefore, this research will focus on preparedness – so that’s why a flood survival kit is suited to be made and used during this phase.

  • Medally - A Mirror dresser inspired by Pakistani aesthetics

Introducing the “Medally”, this is a one-of-a-kind post-modernist Mirror Dresser that utilizes Pakistani aesthetics with a modern twist. To elaborate, the Pakistani furniture is usually made up of its own native Sheesham wood with splashes of spices color, medallion patterns, warm metals such as brass or bronze and with cool green and blue colors to balance things out – this is how you can identify Pakistani furniture. This mirror dresser is designed as a post-modernist dresser – with the mirror being inside the furniture and need to be pull up and the drawer are painted with a unique medallion pattern.
