  • LISBORN - A statement chair inspired by Calla Lily and textile waste.

Inspired by the calla lily flower's symbolic concept of being "reborn" This statement chair explores the use of textile waste materials in furniture design through the process of fabric upcycling. Its purpose is to transform waste materials into fashionable furniture, thereby giving them a second chance at life.

  • KENDEROR - BATIK INFUSION TRAVELLING BAG

A travel bag that is both distinctive and modern suitable for ladies; utilising batik to showcase Malaysian culture and appropriate for commercialization. Malaysian batik is regarded as a national treasure. Along with being a source that contributed to economic development, the innovative and creative local crafts that use batik help to preserve the nation's cultural identity. A unique and contemporary travel bag with the application of batik has been developed to ensure its existence for future generations. The design thinking method has been applied to refine the idea development process and identify the best solution for developing a weekender travelling bag with batik. Based on this project-based learning, the creation of innovative local products infused with Malaysian batik is one of the positive contributions towards product commercialization and sustainability of our intangible heritage.
