Our sustainable design initiative focuses on repurposing garlic peel, a common food waste, into a valuable resource for product design. We propose a helmet for Beam use on the Universiti Sains Malaysia campus. Garlic peel's fibrous and lightweight properties offer an eco-friendly alternative. Our design ensures safety standards while promoting waste reduction, aligning with circular design principles. This innovative approach emphasizes resource efficiency and environmental responsibility, turning food waste into a material for a helmet that champions sustainability in campus transportation. Redefining product design through ecological innovation and responsible resource utilization, this project represents a paradigm shift towards a greener future.
